Right femoral vessels isolation

After palpating the femoral artery, a longitudinal skin incision is performed below the inguinal legament and the subcutaneous tissue is dissected, exposing the vessels which are then isolated. The common femoral artery gives off the deep femoral artery which has to be snared, and two snares are placed around the femoral artery. The femoral vein is then exposed and 2 purse strings, one on the artery and one on the vein, are made.
