At the second step, the left pillow is inflated to angle the patient on the right. Three trocars are placed in the 3^rd intercostal space on the anterior axillary line, and in the 2^nd and the 5^th/6^th intercostal spaces to form a triangle. The pericardium is opened orizontally 2 cm above the phrenic nerve and suspended. The diameter of the LAA base, already tightened, is measured with the dedicated probe, and the AtriClip Pro II is introduced through the most caudal port (5^th or 6^th space). Under TEE and visual control, the AtriClip Pro II is deployed at the LAA base. Pericardium is partially closed and a drain is placed in the pleural space.
